This is updated gallery, created after modification of the segmentation procedure using algorithms of Cellpose 2.2. All other steps of profile creation procedure stayed the same as in “Automatic morphocorticography” procedure, described in “The story of MCG” post. Click on any image to scroll through the list of profiles in high resolution. Click on “Esc(ape)” button to return to this page.
Each profile is the result of measurement of several fragments of images (9 to 12) selected in each area. Original cortical images were downloaded from interactive “Allen Reference Atlas of Human brain“. Areas were identified and selected using the available annotation of every section.
Please, observe excellent correspondence between profiles and underlying area’s texture. Also, please notice how profile uniquely describes each area.
